At the moment, what's on offer?

At the moment campaigns are for 6 m (normal finger) and 12 m crafts, as well as jet skis.

What is the maximum length for a craft to be able to moor at PRC (Calheta Marina)?

Up to 25 metres.

Which is the capacity of this Marina?

There are 339 moorings. (Plus reception and pleasure docks.)

How many jet skis can moor?

There is room for 44 jet skis.

Which are the best sites to see/find out about meteorology?

What’s the depth of the marina?

Depth varies in different parts of the Marina. In the passages the limit goes up to 3 metres at low tide (hydrographic zero) and at the entrance and North and South quays up to 6.70 metres.

What’s the occupation rate (in percentage)?

The occupation rate at Calheta Marina is 71%.

Is there a fuel station?

There is one and it is open everyday from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm.

What time does the parking area close?

The parking does not close. From 9:00 am to 11:00 pm the customer can pay at reception and from 11:00 pm onwards the customer can pay at one of the 3 automatic ticket machines, one in floor 0 and the other two in floor 2.

What are the advantages of leaving a boat at this Marina?

The advantages are:

• Maritime assistants who can help at mooring;
• 24h surveillance;
• Spas with hot water showers for the boat owners;
• 50% discount cards at the parking area (for customers);
• Fuel station opens from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm (in the future it will be opened at all times, with a Multi-bank card);
• Trolleys for loading and unloading in the passages entries;
• Shortcut ramp;
• Reception dock;
• Wireless internet (throughout the promenade, restaurants and cafes);
• Updated meteorology info posted in the poster next to reception;
• At only a few metres from PRC, there is a yellow sand beach (artificial), one Hotel

What kind of restaurants and bars are at PRC?

At PRC we have:

• One pizzeria (Akikalheta);
• A restaurant whose specialty is hot sandwiches (O Mordisco);
• A restaurant – pub specialised in fish (Mad Era);
• A kiosk with beautiful views on the marina (Top Deck – kiosk 1);
• Aquarazão - Kiosk 4;

Is there any outlets supporting the crafts?

Yes. There are two outlets, ANB and O.N, selling all type of material for crafts. Cables, fenders, vests, torchs, flashlights, engines, boats, jet skis, etc.

Is there any other type of outlets?

Yes. There is a laundry, open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm (Gota de água) and a souvenirs shop selling accessories with PRC logotype: t-shirts, coats, towels, caps, hats, etc. It is a tobacco shop, with magazines and tobacco, selling all type of drinks, from vodka to Porto wine. It is also a convenience shop selling food and water.
